PPF software prepares the patterns; a cutting plotter cuts them into film. Before buying a license, check your exact plotter model, connection and a small test cut.
Which plotters are listed?
LionCut product information lists Graphtec series 5000, 7000, 8000, 8600 and 9000, Jaguar devices and the Summa D-160. A manufacturer's name alone is not enough: check your particular model, driver and workstation settings.
Run a test cut first
Install the trial, select a small panel and check communication with the plotter. Verify film width, orientation, margins and the starting point. Compare the cut with the preview before using a full sheet of film.
If your model is not listed
Do not assume that another model from the same brand will behave identically. Contact LionCut with your exact plotter model and Windows version so compatibility can be checked before purchasing.
Does LionCut work with every cutting plotter?
No universal compatibility is claimed. Test your model before purchase; the listed plotter families are above.
Can I use LionCut on macOS?
LionCut is designed for 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11; macOS is not currently supported.
